One of my friend bought HTC Hd2 two months back. He is not very tech savvy nor he has any idea about latest HDTV, Computers and other gadgets. The only fault was with the plug-in wires one of which was broken in between. He just tested the wires and find out in two minutes that the problem is not with HTC HD2 but with the cables connecting the two devices. For doing almost nothing he charged my friend more than 15 dollars. Then he realized his mistake that he could have himself solved his problem.

What It Means To Turn 40, 50, And Beyond

Turning 40 or older is something special. It has positive and negative things. Or, to say in a better way, turning 40 represents many positive and negative thins in my life.

I am already 44, and many times I feel good with life, I feel young, I feel I have plenty to do and to give. I wear my reading glasses with pride. As it shows I have been here long enough to at least think I know what I am doing.

But, sometimes I get the feeling that life is passing to fast. Looks like yesterday I was 30, so a big question comes to my mind: What I did to my life during the las 10 years or so?

I also feel that the number 50 is coming and that number looks awful to me.

When I was a child, I always considered that 50 year old people are very old people who are going to die soon. So, my point is to enjoy life the most possible while I am in my forties.

That sounds like middle age crisis, but that is what I am going to do.

Enjoying life at the most while in my forties include have plenty of fun, lots of physical activities, meeting lots of new people, exploring my hidden desires, going to new places, traveling and visiting different countries, trying many new things. Of course once I reach fity I will need to replace my eyewear with mid strength reading glasses to combat the inevetible loss of up close vision.

But, I also want to enjoy my family, my parents and all the people I love. They are becoming older and older and there is limited time to enjoy life and good moments together.

Hope this does not sounds pathetic.

Finally, one of my main goals is to be a healthy person. For that in my forties I am going to live a healthy style more than ever. Healthy and natural food, lots of exercise and good sleep are going to be the keys for my success.

I am 56 years old, a professional CPA employee of a private company and am single. They say at this age, I should be enjoying my kids or busy thinking their daily allowances and on how to pay off some tuition fees in school. Most of my friends and officemates are a bit disappointed knowing that they recognized me as one of the most eligible bachelors. Since I don’t have my own family to think of, I seldom reward myself of unfamiliar things for my age. I love learning on the new gadgets that are continually released in the market nowadays. At least, from this I don’t get to be so innocent on it not like having my own family. Recently I purchased an Ipod Nano as a reward after working so hard for the past months. Good thing ipod instruction manual nano are there to serve as my guide as I explore more about it. It’s fulfilling to learn on something that you are not familiar of. It helps me kindle my shrinking brain cells since I’m not getting any younger. I guess that’s how God bless us individually, we are fortunate only on certain things but we cannot have everything we want.

I know that there are highly reputable companies and business leaders behind some of the companies that are behind some of these ads, but come on. Cavemen? Who’re you kidding? I don’t want a silly message, not on the web, and not on TV (which I watch less and less of these days). When it comes to dimming, all light sources still have their cons. All light fixtures have lamp life and dimming challenges. Some can be easily dimmable but may require a more complex system, while others change their color quality and/or use more energy than an average light bulb.

Fluorescent and LEDs lamps can be dimmable, but require a dimming ballast/driver. Biax and quad lamps need a three-wire dimmer, while GU24 lamps are dimmable with a two-wire dimmer (down to 30 percent for most). Halogens get yellower as you dim it like all incandescent lamps do. They are only a white light when operated at full brightness. They have a 3000K color temperature but slips into the 2700K and even warmer range when dimmed. If you like the color of halogen, then LEDs and CFLs offer a 3000K color that doesn’t shift significantly when dimmed. Although halogen dims easily, it has to be operated at full brightness 20 percent of the time in order for the lamp to clean itself out. Otherwise, the bulb blackens and burns out prematurely. Because halogen lamps are so bright, people dim them down and rarely turn them on at full brightness, which it shortens the life of the bulbs. It is recommended that you set up a “maintenance schedule” for the lamp. For example, if you regularly clean your house on Saturdays, turn on the lights at full brightness for the amount of time it takes for you to clean up. This will ensure that your light bulb will last longer.

There’s not a right answer for which type of bulb you should use. This depends on many factors such as color of preference, energy saving features, how easily can be dimmed, etc. But, what we can conclude is that they all still have their cons. Dimmers work especially well with designer lighting chandeliers and pendant lights.

Everyone kept telling me my art was great, and I needed to get it recognized. I have always been skeptical about selling my things on the internet and ecommerce in general, and I was afraid that 1) they would not sell and,2) that I would get ripped off. Shortly after posting my first piece, which was a Big Island clock, I was offered $200 for it and I posted it at $250. I could not believe how quickly it had sold. I posted about 4 more at the same price, and within 2 weeks had sold them all for asking price. The following month, I went a head and put the entire island chain I had made the year before with no luck of selling, and within hours of posting it, I was offered $750 of the $1000 I had been asking. I decided after that to put my entire collection on to see how it would do. after a month I was busy again making more. I cannot begin to tell you how thankful I am to have the opportunity to share what I love, and have people appreciate my work the way they do. In the last 8 months I have sold more than $5000 worth of granite art, and I feel blessed.
