I have recently retired, and I want to move to the coast. When I was looking for houses to rent Ayr looked by far the best place, so I will be visiting this charming town this coming weekend. Ayr is located on the west coast of Scotland, and is not too far away from Glasgow, where I used to live in the 1980s. My main passion in life is golf, which I have played ever since I was a teenager. I was very pleased to discover that the region is home to many superb courses, including Troon and Prestwick.

Hopefully, I will find the perfect house very soon, and will move in within a month or so. Once that’s done, I shall be heading straight for the nearest golf course.
