The Right Wireless Microphone for You
Sunday, January 15th, 2012
Performers love to use it, you can see them on the news and during interviews: the wireless microphone is everywhere these days and used for so many different applications. There are a couple of commonly used wireless microphones; the handheld and the hands-free.
The hands-free microphone is also called a Lavalier or lapel microphone. These first made their appearance on television fifty years ago and have since slimmed down in size considerable. These wireless microphones one or two inches tall these days and provide the user with high quality sound. The microphone itself is clipped to a person’s shirt or hidden underneath clothing. Highly utilized for those live theater performances for the ability to mount these wireless microphones under wigs and costume attire.
The other type of wireless microphone is the handheld, typically seen used by the media, live music productions and for music recording; these devices are also commonly used for karaoke. The handheld wireless mic gives the performer the freedom to move around stage and interact with the audience, all without the fear of tripping over the microphone cording.
You need to use a receiver and transmitter with your microphone in order for it to work. The transmitter is worn by the performer and is used to pick up the signal sent from the microphone. The transmitter is either a body-pack or belt-pack model. The receiver takes the signal that’s sent from the transmitter and turns it into an audio signal.
You can purchase these entire components together, wireless microphone included, in what is commonly referred to as a wireless microphone system. These systems operate on UHF or VHF and can provide the user with 150 feet to 300 feet of range capability, depending on the model and brand of the system your purchase as well as whether your system operates with UHF or VHF.

It’s Time to Take a Singing Career Seriously!
Thursday, January 12th, 2012
Have you ever considered taking voice lessons online? With singing lessons online you get a better education when it comes to learning how to sing because you get an instructor’s entire life worth of information in video form. This is great because it’s not only more cost-effective than taking private lessons but it’s also great because you get a lot more for that less amount of money. And you get to keep all the videos which is cool because you can watch them over and over if you want to. And because you get the lessons right away all up front you can kind of pick and choose and decide when you want to take what lesson. But most of them are set up systematically so you can go step by step and learn the right things at the right time. This is a great way to learn how to sing if you are wanting to better your singing voice and have found yourself a little bit frustrated with not knowing what to do to get to where you want to be.

Practice How to Teach Yourself Guitar
Saturday, January 7th, 2012
Do you find it a challenging chore to teach yourself guitar? Then you are definitely not alone in this particular dilemma. A lot of beginners who are trying to learn and master the guitar on their own are facing countless challenges and difficulties – which are rather normal because this is how it really is, in reality and in all truth. There is no easy way and unfortunately, there are no short cuts as well. If you are looking one, then might as well stop now before you get even more frustrated because you will never find one.
The only tried and tested secret is practice. Yes, it sounds simple, but it is in fact the most effective way to be an expert on playing the guitar and more. You have to do your exercises and songs over and over until you can play it without even really exerting much of an effort.

Knowing How to Read Guitar Chords
Thursday, December 22nd, 2011
The importance of knowing how to read guitar chords is hard to explain in words. I mean, how can you play the guitar chord when you don’t know how to read it in the first place? Guitar chords are the foundation of successful guitar playing. So you’ll definitely understand how important it is to read those guitar chords. Without that, you might as well stop right now, because it won’t work, and never will.
Sure, this part is quite challenging, but there is really nothing much that we can do about it, except to work and practice harder. In time, you will soon find it easy to read and play those chords and you will soon be incorporating those chords in a song and play it on your guitar easily. Just continue practicing, don’t lose heart, and keep yourself motivated. I’m pretty sure that in no time, you will be in league with those expert guitarists.

Selling Pretty Well
Saturday, December 3rd, 2011
I think that so far, I notice that the Peavey Escort 2000 is really selling pretty well, and I also tend to wonder why. I mean, it’s really not top of the line, and I think that it’s also pretty old, but there must be something about the Peavey Escort 2000 that sets it apart from the rest of the other public address systems. This is something that I’m eager to look into, and I hope that I find an answer soon. Anyway, there are also a lot of other items that are vying for my attention. One of those items I think is the keyboard, which is also something very important if you want to make high quality music. I know that the common band set-up involves people playing only string instruments like a guitar and bass, and then drums as well. But if you want to really be independent, a keyboard is a must.

Making Your Beats Bang with Software
Monday, September 26th, 2011
If I told you that you could make incredible, heart throbbing beats with beat making software, would you be shocked or surprised? If you said yes, you should not be, as software has become one of the leading ways to produce music these days (at least in the urban and dance style of music, anyway).
The main reason why I choose to heavily favor most software platforums for music production is simple – you are not limited by anything. And, the costs are favorable when compared to most hardware. In other words, you can take things as far as you want and will not have to suffer from using half of your life savings just to get a beat machine.
The best part about it all? All you need is a computer to get your start. Install the software and you will be off before you know it, cranking out track after track and honing your skills. Trust me – it’s worth it!

I Have Evolved to Playing Lead Guitar
Friday, September 23rd, 2011
I was just searching on Craigslist for local musicians in my area. My band really needs a drummer bad. We have looked high and low for a good one, but they seem impossible to find. Bad ones are all over the place. In fact, some of them could certainly benefit from some good drum lessons. Somebody needs to tell them.
Anyway, I used to play drums in bands for years, but lately have evolved to playing lead guitar. At my age, I just find it more challenging and a lot more interesting than playing the drums. I guess I have just lost interest in drumming. I still got my drum set out in the garage, and I let who ever comes over to jam with me play them. I see no sense in a drummer having to lug is drum kit over here and then tear it down, pack it back in his car, and head back home with it.

Issues Affecting Learning Piano Online
Thursday, August 4th, 2011
If children have difficulties learning from online piano lessons, parents should help to clarify the situation so that they may be entitled help. As always, there is a socio-economic aspect of the dysfunctional children — the monetary costs for investigations and extra effort. But, it also costs society a lot of money in the long run with the children who do not receive help in time. Children who, with their rowdy behaviour, are at risk of punishing themselves and fall off society; children who are not visible, but still feel very bad about their difficulties, turn their aggression against themselves instead of acting out. Children are different; so even those dysfunctional children have the need for action which varies in both size and type. The children who are most in need of help may not always be those who are helped first.
Many of these issues are — if not uninteresting at any rate — less crucial if one chooses to offer all students in the school FMT. FMT does not have the need for an initially analyzed problem; therein lie one of the method forces. Since no investigation, diagnosis or descriptions of problems are required before treatment, there are great opportunities to use the method without large financial inputs from the school. Besides the purely economic gains, the school thus has a great deal of time to do FMT handling that can be started immediately. One need not wait for findings from instances where perhaps the queues are long. Whatever the problem, the method is effective and helps the individual or student towards development.
By having FMT-therapists employed at the school, this may contribute to catch early the students who are dysfunctional and offer them assistance in the form of FMT-treatment. FMT is not dependent on a diagnosis, or of knowing the causes of dysfunctional behavior. Therefore, it is not necessary to have previous investigations of other expertise. The school can take the responsibility to offer FMT-analysis to all pupils of piano online and FMT-treatment to those in need. This would certainly benefit all parties.

Reviewing Online Guitar Lessons
Wednesday, July 20th, 2011
There are a couple different ways that you can learn an instrument in this day and age. The problem is that different ways will allow you to learn faster and some ways will charge more for worse service. The worst way that you can learn an instrument is learning through a personal instructor. This is more of an opinion but many people will agree that this is costly and sometimes these people try to teach you at a slow pace so that you do not learn very fast. You will be very glad you looked into this information here because this website here has links to reviews of online guitar lessons. This is by far the best way to learn because you know how much money you are spending to learn the instrument and you will be satisfied no matter what. They have jamplay review if you have heard of that specific foundation for learning.
Take Radio Promotion Seriously
Sunday, June 26th, 2011
If you’re a new artist doing some radio promotion, you must take it seriously. For example, if you are scheduled to call in during a radio morning show, you must be on time.
Be early, in fact. Radio shows are tightly scheduled and the on-air personalities must stick to the schedule. If you are even one minute late for a call-in, you could be throwing off the entire schedule. As a matter of fact, some radio announcers won’t even deal with artists who are late for interviews.
It is considered very rude and unprofessional when an artist is late without a very good excuse. So if you are booked for a three-minute call-in at 7 a.m. In the morning, you had better set your alarm clock. Even if you are in another time zone, that is no excuse. Missing interviews will make you very unpopular with radio programmers and personalities. Disc jockeys may even say bad things about you if you don’t show up.

Online Guitar Lessons – Learn with Tabs or by Ear?
Wednesday, June 22nd, 2011
Learning to play the guitar is a great experience. Learning any instrument is a great experience. You learn about music and how it is all around us.
The thing with guitar players is that many players just starting out want to learn the tabs of this song or that song. Tabs are the easiest form of sheet music when it comes to guitar.
You can learn how to read tabs in minutes. But the thing about reading tabs for learning new songs is that you will end up having to rely on them to learn new songs. Reading tabs is more of a mechanical skill and it is harder to develop a rhythm and feel the music.
Playing by ear is an advanced skill and takes more time to grasp but it pays off much better since you will develop a sense for music. It is a way more natural way to play guitar. Learn how to play by ear with guitar lessons online.

Share Your Beats with the Online World
Monday, June 20th, 2011
Why don’t you start to share your beats with the online world? There is no reason you cannot begin to offer your beats for sale online and make some friends. There is a rather large online rap beats community, hungry to buy from, share and help out up and coming beat producers. Simply join a forum or a beat selling website to start learning the ropes of selling and marketing your beats. Most beats can be sold for anywhere from $20 to $40 and you will pocket at least half of that amount. Considering that one beat can only take a day or two, or less, this probably sounds like a god deal.
Make your own rap beats on your software of choice and in no tie you can have a small catalog of beats to sell to prospective beat enthusiasts. Many rappers are always looking for fat beats to buy and compile a song with, so why not offer your beats to these budding rappers?

Hip Hop Takes over
Friday, May 13th, 2011
Hip Hop music began in the late 1970s as mainly an urban subculture, initially confined to the ghettos, most notably Harlem and the South Bronx in New York City. Since then, it has grown dramatically into a multi-billion dollar business, taking over music, film, television, books, sport and fashion in the growing process. The fact hip hop music was largely created by African-Americans has led to claims that the genre has entirely transformed American society, so much to the extent that many believe the Obama presidency would not have been possible without hip hop. A quite extraordinary development. The genres most lucrative financial investment occurred when 50 Cent negotiated a minority stake in Vitamin Water in return for acting as a celebrity spokesman. That is without forgetting the multi-millionaire clothing range that has been developed through hip-hop music, Pharrell Williams Billionaire Boys Club, which has taken over the hip-hop scene.

What the Karate Kid Can Teach You About Guitar
Wednesday, February 16th, 2011
I’m sure we all remember the scene in the Karate Kid where Daniel-san was getting ready to learn Karate from Mr. Miyagi and start being able to defend himself against the bullies that had literally tormented him.
Then we see the absolute look of disappointment when Daniel-san is taken to a fence by Mr. Miyagi and told to start painting – then shortly thereafter, he was taken to Mr. Miyagi’s car and told to wax his car. Not quite what you think about when you think about learning Karate, is it? Well, it obviously wasn’t what Daniel-san had in mind, either.
Fast forward a few scenes and we see Daniel-san exclaiming his anger towards the training regime that Mr. Miyagi had him on. He wasn’t satisfied and wanted to start learning something that would teach him how to defend himself. Mid sentence, Mr. Miyagi attempts to strike Daniel-san, where Daniel-san uses his new found talents he gained from doing the work that wasn’t fun or seemingly result yielding to defend himself.
Guitar is the same way – you have to literally push past the beginning, where you might be practicing for hours on end with no results at all and not getting any results at all, before you get to the point where you can play well enough to where people would be impressed.
You’ve got to literally WANT to practice guitar if you’re going to get good enough to start playing really well and impressing people – because if you don’t love practicing, you won’t get better. Hands down. It’s possible you will get better, but if you don’t love practicing enough that you do it a whole lot, even if you might not be getting seemingly any results, you aren’t going to improve. In order to master guitar, you have to learn to love it.

What is an Online Beat Maker?
Sunday, February 13th, 2011
An online beat maker is a tool that can help you to make beats online. It is also known as beat making software, and it can allow you to make beats, easily, without the need for a home or professional recording studio.
The power of a pc, even a notebook these days, means that you can create, sequence and record your own beats, at home, before releasing them out to the world, via the internet or handing out CDs in your local scene.
You will gather together sounds and samples, as your building blocks. Then you arrange these into patterns, which are the building blocks for you beat. Then you sequence them into a full track or demo, to share with others.
Online beat maker software allows you to share your tracks, by outputting them as Wav or MP3 files, from your PC, so that they are ready to go. No further software is needed to upload or share your beats online.

Meaning of House Music
Friday, February 4th, 2011
House music refers to a collection of electronic dance music. The common element of house music is a 4/4 beat generated by a drum along with an electronically generated bass line. The melody is generally repetitive and percussive. It is a type of disco music originated in the late 1980s, and was popularized in underground all night parties held in abandoned warehouses. It is mainly based on funk with fragments of other music added electronically. In the early days it was defined as DJ music with a lot of DJ creating their own beats and adding samples. Basically house music is the father of, and defines many other music styles. Everything started as house music, but somewhere along the journey got splintered as a different category or sub category of music. The various names that are given are simply marketing tools and are used as publicity stunts to describe the offspring of house music.
