But I sure wouldn’t mind getting some toning going on for my upper arms. There’s a Flex Arms review on line that’s really got my attention..

Most people are familiar with a few abdominal exercises. These tend to be along the lines of crunches, sit-ups, and planks. These exercises are great when done properly for building up overall core strength. They help improve particularly the upper portion of the abdominal muscles. Lower ab exercises are important however if one is truly to have a set of washboard abs. When attempting to achieve a well defined and toned midsection, it is usually the upper area of the abdomen that shows through first, as most people work this area more than the lower portion. For those wondering how to get washboard abs, it is important to become familiar with exercises that work the lower abdomen.
Exercises that work the lower abdomen typically involve some sort of leg movement. This means that the legs or knees are usually raised up or tucked in toward the chest. A perfect example of this is the leg raise. Lying on one’s back, a person simply raises their legs up and down off the floor. Flutter kicks also work the abs in a similar way. Lying on one’s back, the legs are raised up and down, alternating each back and forth so that one is being raised while the other is being lowered. Both of these exercises do require some use of leg muscles; particularly the hip flexors of the upper legs. Because of this, it is particularly important to concentrate on utilizing the abdominal muscles to raise up the legs rather than the muscles located in the front upper part of the legs.
Achieving washboard abs means in part working the muscles of the lower abdomen. Exercises that involve raising and lowering the legs are a great way to increase strength and muscle tone in this area. Wonderful Little Mat

I debated about this mat for a while. Searching for a great mat, I had been recommended to get some Mexican blankets from my teacher. A Manduka mat! Sure it had been costly when compared with other mats but as I have stated in all reviews, I’ve not a problem having to pay more if it really gets me something greater in quality and this is unquestionably among those instances. The “thick” mats at 3/16″ will still offer additional cushion without the headache but if you have tried them and they are still not enough, this may be the way to go. I wound up sucking it up and paying the substantial cost for this one and I don’t have any regrets other than I just wish I’d gotten it faster. Probably the thicker mat I had suffered from an excessive amount of “give.” It would have been good. I ordered the black Manduka mat after listening to suggestions from buddies, and I am glad I did.
