It Will Be Fun
Monday, October 3rd, 2011
I have been thinking about home elevator cost because I want to install one in my home. There are many types of elevators available, ranging from something that requires major reconstruction, to something that does not require such construction at all. I guess that less is best in this case. It will provide convenience for my family, and I think that the kids will love it. They will probably go crazy about it for awhile too. Mostly, I am installing it for my dad who lives with us. I have seen him struggle to go up the stairs, and I feel like it might be a bit dangerous for him to do that now. It looked like it took a lot out of him once he reached the top floor. It is not something that we considered before, but it seems like such an interesting device for our home now.

The Care She Needed
Tuesday, June 21st, 2011
My mother went through a lot in her life. Two tours in Viet Nam as a nurse in the Navy. Leaving her civilian job behind for Desert Storm when her reserve unit was called up and a lot more. After my father died she more then provided for my brother and me even when living her in Hawaii got tough for anyone who wasnt a millionaire. Shortly after her 75th birthday it was time to face some hard facts. She just wasnt able to care for herself on her own. We started looking at Hawaii elder care options to find the best place for her and what we found was a lot better then we could have hoped for. It was a VA certified community that offered the nursing care that she would need in this next phase of her life. With her fellow veterans around her and the care she needs when she needs it I feel a lot better about her.

Condolence Messages – an Important of a Funeral
Saturday, May 21st, 2011
When your near and dear one has lost someone very close, it is an extremely difficult situation. You know that whatever you say, will do them no good. It might decrease their pain by certain measures but it will definitely not be able to annul the tumult that they have been going through. A condolence message is a message that you send to someone who has undergone some personal loss in life and is trying to cope up with it. One has to be very careful while framing these condolence messages as your words, if misinterpreted in a wrong way, may make a person all the more sad and unhappy. Thus, be very cautious while framing a condolence message. Choose your words very carefully. Be sympathetic enough and try and give some strength and hope to the person who has undergone the loss. They are in very bad position right now and they need it.

Not All People Lose Their Jobs During Recession
Tuesday, August 24th, 2010
Sometimes due to the harsh business environment companies ask some of their employees to be at home rather than report for work. My brother was working for a plastic molding firm for the last ten years. Last year due to recession the company asked my brother and some of his colleagues to be at home because there was simply no work. The company could not remove their employees because they feared that the union would then declare a strike and the conditions would further worsen. So the management decided that some workers would be asked not to report to work but they would receive the benefits for not working. It meant that all those workers would receive their monthly wages without the fear of losing their jobs. It was a win-win situation for both the management and the employees. Management prefers to keep the workers at home and pay them their wages rather than ask them to be in the factory and keep them idle. After the recession was over my brother and all his colleagues automatically got their job back.

What It Means To Turn 40, 50, And Beyond
Wednesday, July 21st, 2010
Turning 40 or older is something special. It has positive and negative things. Or, to say in a better way, turning 40 represents many positive and negative thins in my life.
I am already 44, and many times I feel good with life, I feel young, I feel I have plenty to do and to give. I wear my reading glasses with pride. As it shows I have been here long enough to at least think I know what I am doing.
But, sometimes I get the feeling that life is passing to fast. Looks like yesterday I was 30, so a big question comes to my mind: What I did to my life during the las 10 years or so?
I also feel that the number 50 is coming and that number looks awful to me.
When I was a child, I always considered that 50 year old people are very old people who are going to die soon. So, my point is to enjoy life the most possible while I am in my forties.
That sounds like middle age crisis, but that is what I am going to do.
Enjoying life at the most while in my forties include have plenty of fun, lots of physical activities, meeting lots of new people, exploring my hidden desires, going to new places, traveling and visiting different countries, trying many new things. Of course once I reach fity I will need to replace my eyewear with mid strength reading glasses to combat the inevetible loss of up close vision.
But, I also want to enjoy my family, my parents and all the people I love. They are becoming older and older and there is limited time to enjoy life and good moments together.
Hope this does not sounds pathetic.
Finally, one of my main goals is to be a healthy person. For that in my forties I am going to live a healthy style more than ever. Healthy and natural food, lots of exercise and good sleep are going to be the keys for my success.
